Toledo, OH (May 13, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Toledo claimed one woman’s life. The Toledo Police Department and area firefighters responded to the accident scene around 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 11.
Reports from authorities show that a 67-year-old woman was traveling westbound on Central Avenue during the morning hours. As she attempted to make a left turn onto South Detroit Avenue, a second vehicle struck her vehicle. The woman was severely hurt in the crash and transported to St. Vincent Hospital, where she died from her injuries. A second victim involved in the crash was transported to an area hospital. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
