Toledo, OH (April 23, 2024) – On Sunday, April 21, officers with the Toledo Police Department were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that occurred during the evening hours.
According to preliminary investigations, at around 6:45 p.m., a black 2012 Acura RDX was traveling westbound on Alexis Road near Davida Drive. At the same time, a gray 2014 Yamaha FZ09 was traveling eastbound on the same roadway. For unknown reasons, the Acura RDX driver attempted to turn into a parking lot or driveway without yielding to other vehicles. As a result, the vehicle collided with the Yamaha FZ09. The driver of the Yamaha FZ09 was injured in the accident. The victim, identified as 20-year-old Andrew Brentlinger, was transported to Toledo Hospital for medical care. The incident is under investigation.
