Strongville, OH (January 24, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported on Monday evening in the Strongville area left one person injured. Police responded to the scene of the accident at around 6:45 p.m. on January 22.
According to police reports, a 2017 Ford Escape was traveling west on Lunn Road, just west of Pearl Road, on US Highway 42. As a 2016 Jeep Patriot stopped in traffic for a vehicle to turn into a driveway near the Arby’s Restaurant, the driver of the Ford Escape failed to stop and crashed into the rear of the Jeep Patriot. One person in the Jeep, identified as 18-year-old Yacoub Mansour of Strongville, Ohio, was injured. He was transported to Cleveland Clinic Brunswick for medical care. No other injuries were reported as a result of this collision. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
