Shaker Heights, OH (May 29, 2024) – Emergency crews were requested to provide help at the scene of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in the Shaker Heights area. The police and firefighters were informed of the accident at around 9:45 p.m. on May 27.
According to law enforcement reports, a 2017 Lexus was traveling east on Fairhill Road while approaching the intersection of Coventry Road. At the same time, a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox was traveling northbound on Coventry Road while approaching Fairhill Road. As the vehicles entered the intersection, they both collided. One person involved in the accident was injured. The victim, identified as 18-year-old Naria Vanae Jones, was transported by Cleveland Heights EMS to the University of Ohio – Cleveland Medical Center for treatment. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
