Pitt Twp., OH (February 22, 2024) – The Ohio State Highway Patrol confirmed that 25-year-old Brady Neifer of Archbold, Ohio, lost his life due to a hit-and-run accident that occurred on Monday morning in Wyandot County.
Just before 6:00 a.m. on February 19, Neifer was driving in the vicinity of US Route 23 and Township Road 65. For unknown reasons, a vehicle crashed into his car, causing him to travel off the side of the road. His vehicle came to rest at a tree line near the intersection. Neifer was located at the scene by authorities, who quickly realized he had fatal injuries. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. The second vehicle involved in the accident did not remain on-site. At this time, the incident is being investigated, and the police are looking for the driver of the vehicle that fled.
