Cleveland, OH (January 22, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Parma area on Saturday afternoon sent a woman to the hospital with significant injuries. The Parma Police Department was called to the scene of the crash at around 12:30 p.m. on January 20.
According to law enforcement, a silver 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer was traveling north on York Road in the second lane from the curb. As the vehicle stopped at an intersection near West Pleasant Valley Road, it was struck by a blue 2004 sedan. Both vehicles were damaged due to the impact of the collision. The driver of the Chevrolet, identified as 39-year-old Rachel Anne Wilson of Cleveland, Ohio, was injured in the accident. Parma Fire Department EMS treated Wilson at the scene before transporting her to the University of Ohio–Parma Medical Center for medical care. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
