Northwood, OH (March 15, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported on Thursday in the Northwood area ended in injuries. The Northwood Police Department, local firefighters, and EMS were all requested at the crash site at around 3:00 p.m. on March 14.
According to local law enforcement, a black 2022 Jeep Wrangler was traveling south on Interstate 280 while using the left lane. At the same time, a white 2020 International LT62F semi-truck was traveling south on the roadway using the right lane. The Jeep Wrangler was traveling ahead of the semi-truck when it apparently hydroplaned and collided with a barrier on the left side of the roadway.
The semi-truck proceeded forward and was unable to avoid the Jeep Wrangler, causing the two vehicles to collide. One person was injured in the accident. Medic 80 responded to the accident scene to provide care to 61-year-old Lori Hall of Holland, Ohio. Hall was transported to Mercy Health—Perrysburg Hospital for emergency treatment. The incident is under investigation.
We hope Lori Hall recovers quickly from her injuries.
