Mayfield Village, OH (February 21, 2024) – The Cuyahoga County medical examiner confirmed that 40-year-old Anthony Hodges of Euclid, Ohio, lost his life as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred early Sunday morning.
At approximately 2:30 a.m. on February 18, the Mayfield Village Police Department responded to the scene of a collision involving two vehicles. The incident blocked multiple northbound lanes of Interstate 271, prompting the temporary closure of the roadway. EMS transported Hodges to Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital for emergency care. Authorities confirmed that he died after arriving. No other injuries were reported. The incident is under investigation.
