Highland Heights, OH (March 8, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported on Wednesday morning ended in injuries. Calls for assistance came in at around 8:55 a.m. on March 6.
According to reports from the Highland Heights Police Department, a black 2016 Chevrolet Malibu was heading east on Wilson Mills Road while utilizing the far left lane. The vehicle crossed over the center line for unknown reasons and sideswiped a westbound white 2016 Toyota Highlander. The Chevrolet Malibu then continued traveling east on the roadway before entering the turning lane. As the vehicle proceeded through the intersection of Miner Road, it collided with a taupe 2015 Ford Fusion. The force of the crash pushed the Ford Fusion backward, where it collided with a white 2017 Nissan Rogue.
Two people were injured in the accident. Emergency medical services responded to the scene and provided care to 49-year-old William Redfearn of Euclid, Ohio, and 66-year-old Catherine Orosz of Wickliffe, Ohio. Both victims were transported to Hillcrest Hospital for further care. At this time, the incident is being investigated by the Highland Heights Police Department.
