Elyria, OH (May 13, 2024) – Emergency crews were requested at the scene of a multi-vehicle accident that claimed one person’s life. The collision occurred during the afternoon hours on Saturday, May 11.
According to reports from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, at around 12:34 p.m., a Subaru Crosstrek was traveling eastbound on the Ohio Turnpike when it collided with a concrete barrier. The vehicle was then struck by a semi-truck tractor-trailer and a Dodge Ram pickup truck. One person involved in the accident, identified as 23-year-old Jackson Williams, was fatally injured in the accident. He was pronounced deceased by authorities. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
