Brooklyn, OH (January 22, 2024) – The Brooklyn Police Department confirmed that 59-year-old Guy Fussi was injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in the Brooklyn area. The accident was reported at around 12:55 a.m. on January 21.
Reports from the police show that a gray 2011 Chevrolet Impala was stopped at a traffic signal while traveling east on Northcliff Avenue. At the same time, Fussi was on the west side of Ridge Road waiting to cross. After receiving a walk signal, the pedestrian proceeded to cross the road and was struck by the Chevrolet. Fussi sustained serious injuries in the accident. Brooklyn EMS provided care to the victim briefly while at the scene. He was then transported to Metro-Cleveland for further care. At this time, the Brooklyn Police Department is investigating.
