Brook Park, OH (May 12, 2024) – The Brook Park Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Friday evening and ended in injuries. Calls for assistance came in just before 4:10 p.m. on May 10.
According to official reports, a beige 2010 Ford Escape was being driven on the westbound side of Brookpark Road when its driver attempted to make a left turn onto West 140th Street. At the same time, a gray 2007 Toyota Camry was traveling east on Brookpark Road. As the first vehicle turned, the two vehicles collided. The impact of the crash caused the Toyota Camry to go off the road. The accident resulted in injuries. Paramedics responded to the scene to render aid to 77-year-old Janet Hatton. Hatton was then transported to Fairview Hospital for emergency care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
