Bedford, OH (February 21, 2024) – On February 19, emergency crews were requested at the scene of a motor vehicle collision in which one person was injured. The crash was reported to the Bedford Police Department at approximately 6:00 p.m.
Police reports indicate that a silver 2013 Ford Fusion was on the northbound lane of Northfield Road at the red light near Rockside Road. For unknown reasons, a black 2013 vehicle, which was traveling east on Rockside Road, veered off the road to the right, crossed Northfield Road, and crashed into the driver’s side of the Ford Fusion.
Two people were injured in the accident. The two victims, 36-year-old Michael Murdock of Bedford, Ohio, and 39-year-old Kenneth Tolbert of Shaker Heights, Ohio, were both transported to UH Ahuja Medical Center in Beachwood, Ohio, for medical care. The accident is being investigated at this time.
