Bedford, OH (March 16, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported on Friday in Bedford ended in injuries. The Bedford Police Department was notified of the accident just after 1:00 p.m. on March 15.
According to law enforcement reports, a red 2004 vehicle was traveling westbound on Columbus Road. At the same time, a black 2022 vehicle was stopped at a stop sign while heading south on Logan Street at the intersection. As the black vehicle proceeded through the intersection, it collided with the red vehicle. The involved vehicles came to rest in the middle of the road. Injuries were reported as a result of the accident. Emergency medical services responded to the scene and cared for 82-year-old Lorenzo Valentino Allen. Allen was then transported to the South Pointe Hospital for further treatment. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
