Lakewood, OH (April 28, 2024) – At around 9:45 a.m. on Friday, April 26, emergency crews were required at the scene of a crash that sent one person to a local hospital with injuries.
According to reports from the Lakewood Police Department, a gold 2004 Honda Odyssey was traveling eastbound on Edgewater Drive. As the vehicle proceeded through the 11700 block of Edgewater Drive, it collided with a blue 2020 Kia Optima. The Honda Odyssey fled the scene of the crash without stopping. The driver of the Kia Optima was injured in the crash. Lakewood Fire Department EMS rendered aid to the victim, who was identified as 39-year-old Dustin Veto. Veto was then transported to a medical facility in the area for further care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
