Alliance, OH (June 24, 2024) – At least one person was transported to a local hospital with injuries following a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Saturday morning, June 22. The Alliance Police Department was informed of the crash at around 7:50 a.m.
According to police reports, a red 2007 Toyota Yaris was traveling westbound on East Broadway Street during the morning hours. As the vehicle entered the intersection with South Union Avenue, it was struck by a gray 2017 Ford F-350 pickup truck. The Ford was traveling northbound at the time of the accident. One person involved in the crash was injured. EMS responded to the crash and rendered aid to 76-year-old Cynthia Sue Bailey. Bailey was then transported to Alliance Hospital for further medical care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
