Youngstown, OH (March 13, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Mahoning County on Tuesday morning sent one person to a local hospital with injuries. The police and firefighters were requested at the scene at around 10:50 a.m. on March 12.
According to area law enforcement, a Western Reserve Transit Authority (WRTA) bus and a second vehicle collided at the intersection of Hillman Street and Ferndale Avenue. The bus was traveling northbound at the time of the accident. One person on the bus was injured. The victim was transported by ambulance to St. Elizabeth Hospital for emergency care. At this time, investigations into the crash are ongoing.
