Toledo, OH (April 28, 2024) – The Toledo Police Department was called to the scene of a car crash that occurred during the early morning hours on Thursday and resulted in injuries. Calls for help came in at around 2:05 a.m. on April 25.
According to TPD reports, a tan 2009 Dodge Journey and gray 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee were traveling north of Talmadge Road near McGregor Lane. The Jeep Grand Cherokee was traveling at a high rate of speed when it crashed into the rear of the Dodge Journey. The impact of the crash sent the Dodge Journey off the roadway, where it came to rest on the west side of Talmadge Road. The Jeep Grand Cherokee flipped over and landed on the driver’s side. One person involved in the crash had to be extricated from their vehicle. The victim, identified as 55-year-old Troy Licata, was transported to Toledo Hospital for medical care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
