Toledo, OH (April 19, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported on Wednesday in the Toledo area resulted in injuries. The Toledo Police Department was called to the scene at around 2:05 p.m. on April 17.
According to area law enforcement, a black 2011 Jeep Cherokee was traveling eastbound on Washington Street during the afternoon hours. As the vehicle approached the intersection of Erie Street, a white 2005 GMC ran a red light. As a result, both vehicles collided. The driver of the Jeep was injured in the crash. EMS responded to the scene to render aid to 26-year-old Christian Davis-Scott. He was then transported to St. Vincent Hospital by the Toledo Fire Department EMS. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
