Strongsville, OH (January 28, 2024) – The police and firefighters in Strongsville were notified of a motor vehicle accident that took place during the evening hours on Saturday, January 27th. 911 dispatchers received calls for help at approximately 6:45 p.m.
According to law enforcement reports, a collision took place on the southbound side of Interstate 71. The incident prompted the closure of the roadway near the Ohio Turnpike overpass. At least one of the involved vehicles caught on fire as a result of the collision. One person was ejected from their vehicle. Injuries were confirmed in this crash. Emergency medical services responded to care for those harmed. Injured victims were then transferred to local hospitals for further medical care. At this time, the Strongsville Police Department is investigating.
