Huron, OH (April 26, 2024) – Emergency crews were requested at the scene of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in the Huron area and involved injuries. The collision was reported to law enforcement at around 10:50 p.m. on April 24.
According to law enforcement reports, 47-year-old Cara Ann Paulsen was walking across Cleveland Road West near Waterworks Drive. At the same time, a gray 2015 Ford Fusion was traveling on Waterworks Drive. As the vehicle proceeded through the intersection, it struck the woman walking. Paulsen was injured in the crash. Huron Fire Department EMS responded to the scene to render aid to the victim. She was then transported to Firelands Regional Medical Center for further treatment. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
