Cleveland, OH (March 29, 2024) – On March 26, emergency officials were called to the scene of a car crash that sent one injured person to a local hospital. The accident occurred at 6:50 a.m.
According to official reports, the driver of a silver 2015 Nissan Altima stated that he was traveling northbound on Interstate 71 when his vehicle was struck on the passenger side rear. As a result of the collision, the driver states that it resulted in him swerving the vehicle. The Nissan Altima then collided with a silver 2007 Toyota Avalon. The Toyota Avalon then went off the road and through a ditch before colliding with several trees. One person was hurt in the crash. The victim, identified as 20-year-old Edith Cardona, was transported to Fairview Hospital for medical care. The accident is under investigation.
