Hudson, OH (February 1, 2024) – On Tuesday, the Hudson Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that sent one person to a local hospital with injuries. The police department was notified of the crash at approximately 8:15 a.m. on January 29.
According to reports provided by local police officers, a pedestrian was walking westbound in a crosswalk on Stowe Road in the area near Hudson Aurora Road. For reasons unknown, the driver of a red vehicle failed to yield the right-of-way to the pedestrian. As a result, the vehicle struck the pedestrian, leaving them injured. The victim, identified as a 17-year-old male from Hudson, was transported to Twinsburg Cleveland Clinic by Hudson EMS. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene of the crash. At this time, the Hudson Police Department is investigating.
