Paris Twp., OH (February 1, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Paris Township ended in injuries. The incident was reported to law enforcement at around 5:35 p.m. on January 29.
Reports from the Ohio State Highway Patrol indicate that a black 2018 Ford Explorer was traveling southbound on Paris Avenue. At the same time, a gold 2005 Buick Lacrosse was traveling northbound on the same roadway. For unknown reasons, the two vehicles collided. The impact of the crash caused the Buick to go off the left side of the roadway and collide with an embankment. The vehicle then reentered the roadway and came to rest. One person involved in the crash was injured. The victim, identified as 36-year-old Tiffany Jancel of Alliance, Ohio, was transported to Aultman Hospital by Minerva Fire Department EMS. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
