Warrensville Heights, OH (February 2, 2024) – On January 31, emergency officials were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that left one person injured. The crash occurred at approximately 11:25 p.m.
According to reports from the Warrensville Heights Police Department, a gray 2019 Chevrolet Equinox was heading southbound on Warrensville Center Road. At the same time, 59-year-old Eric McCarthy of Warrensville Heights, Ohio, was walking east to west near the intersection of Kings Highway. For reasons unknown, the Chevrolet Equinox struck the pedestrian. McCarthy was injured in the crash. The victim was transported to Hillcrest Hospital by Warrensville Heights Fire Department EMS. At this time, the crash is being investigated.
