Vienna Twp., OH (February 12, 2024) – The Ohio State Highway Patrol confirmed that a 93-year-old man lost his life as a result of a fatal collision that occurred in Vienna Township on Sunday morning, February 11.
According to reports provided by OSHP, at around 10:30 a.m., a pickup truck was traveling south on Sodom Hutchings Road. For unknown reasons, the vehicle failed to yield to a car traveling eastbound through the intersection on Ohio State Route 82. As a result, the pickup truck crashed into the car, causing severe damage. The driver of the car, identified as John Dragan, was severely injured. He was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital, where he unfortunately passed away from his injuries. No other injuries were reported. The Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Vienna Township Police Department are investigating the incident.
