Toledo, OH (April 3, 2024) – At around 7:45 a.m. on Monday, April 1, officers with the Toledo Police Department responded to the scene of a crash that sent one person to a local hospital with injuries.
Police reports show that a silver 2000 Ford F-150 pickup truck was being driven in the area of Stillman Street and Broadway Street when the driver of a vehicle in front of it slammed on their brakes. As a result, the Ford F-150 pickup truck stopped abruptly. The driver of a silver 2020 Hyundai Elantra behind the truck was unable to stop in time, and as a result, the Hyundai Elantra crashed into the rear of the Ford F-150 pickup truck.
EMS responded to the scene of the crash within minutes and rendered aid to 21-year-old Constance Marie Carrillo. Carrillo was then transported to ProMedica Bay Park Hospital for treatment. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
