Tallmadge, OH (January 31, 2024) – Emergency crews across Summit County were called to help at the scene of a car crash that took place late Monday evening and ended in injuries. The incident occurred just before midnight on January 29.
According to reports provided by local news sources, a semi-truck tractor-trailer and two cars collided on Interstate 76 during the early morning hours. The force of the collision caused the truck to go off the roadway, where it entered a wooded area before it finally came to a stop. The incident prompted the closure of the westbound lanes of travel near Southeast Avenue. Two people were injured in the crash. Medical personnel transported both of the victims to area hospitals for emergency care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
