Stow, OH (June 27, 2024) – One person was transported to a local hospital with injuries following a motor vehicle accident in the Stow area on June 25. The police were notified about the crash just before 2:30 p.m.
According to official reports, a blue 1984 Nissan 300ZX was traveling westbound on Kent Road, and a black 2004 Toyota Corolla was traveling southbound on Sanford Avenue. As the vehicles proceeded through the intersection, the Toyota Corolla failed to yield the right of way from a stop sign, and the two vehicles collided.
One person was hurt in the crash. EMS responded to the scene to render aid to 21-year-old Hailey Joann Appleton. She was then transported to Akron General North for further care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
