Perry Twp., OH (February 4, 2024) – On February 3, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in Perry Township and ended in injuries.
At around 8:45 a.m., a gray 2015 Honda CR-V and a black 2020 Dodge Ram pickup truck were both traveling south on Perry Drive Northwest. For reasons unknown, the Honda CR-V struck the Dodge Ram from behind near Ohio State Route 172. One person involved in the accident was injured. The injured victim, identified as 68-year-old Diane Shaffer of Canton, Ohio, was transported to Aultman Hospital by Perry Township EMS. At this time, the crash is still being investigated.
