Parma Heights, OH (June 15, 2024) – The Parma Heights Police Department confirmed that 20-year-old Anthony Joseph Grillo of Parma Heights, Ohio, was injured as a result of an automobile accident that occurred on Wednesday afternoon, June 12.
At around 3:10 p.m., a red 2011 Chevrolet Equinox was stopped on the eastbound side of US Highway 42, Pearl Road. For unknown reasons, the vehicle was struck from behind by a gray 2022 vehicle at the 6600 block of the roadway. The driver of the Chevrolet was injured. Emergency medical services responded to the scene to care for the victim, who was identified as Grillo. Grillo was transported to UH Parma Medical Center for treatment. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
