North Olmsted, OH (April 16, 2024) – Emergency crews were requested at the scene of a motor vehicle accident in North Olmsted that sent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries. The incident was reported to law enforcement at around 12:18 p.m. on April 14.
According to police reports, a red 2013 Volkswagen Golf was traveling eastbound on Brookpark Road, Ohio State Route 17. As the vehicle approached the intersection of Columbia Road, the driver began to experience a medical emergency. The incident caused the Volkswagen Golf to run a red light at the intersection. As a result, a gray 2013 Honda CRV struck the Volkswagen Golf. The impact of the crash sent the Golf off the roadway, where it collided with an electric pole.
Two people were hurt as a result of the accident. Emergency medical services provided treatment to 34-year-old Tiffany Alana Raborg and 69-year-old Mina Devesh Patel. Raborg was then transported to Fairview Hospital. Patel was transported by North Olmsted Fire
Department EMS to UH St. John Medical Center for emergency treatment. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
