New Concord, OH – Multiple Victims Injured in OH-83 Collision

New Concord, OH (February 13, 2024) – The Ohio State Highway Patrol confirmed that 20-year-old Charles Sears suffered critical injuries as a result of a motor vehicle accident that left several people injured. The crash occurred late Saturday evening, February 10.

Just before 10:00 p.m., Sears was driving southbound on Ohio State Route 83 when his vehicle collided with a northbound vehicle. Sears was critically injured in the accident and transported to Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, where he was admitted for emergency treatment. Two additional people were injured. The victims, 66-year-old John Winterrigner and 69-year-old Helen Soller were both transported to Genesis Hospital for further medical treatment. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
