Hudson, OH (February 9, 2024) – The Hudson Police Department responded to the scene of an automobile accident on Thursday that ended in injuries. Law enforcement was notified of the crash at around 11:10 a.m. on February 8.
Police reports indicate that a red 2020 Kia Soul and a brown 2017 Kia Sportage were both heading northbound on Darrow Road. As the vehicles approached a stop light at the intersection of Georgetown Road, the Kia Soul began slowing to a stop. The driver of the Kia Sportage failed to ensure a clear distance ahead. As a result, the Kia Sportage struck the rear of the Kia Soul. Two people were injured in the crash. The injured parties, identified as 19-year-old Emily McNeely and 42-year-old Virginia Hall, were transported by EMS to University Hospital for emergency care. At this time, the police in Hudson are investigating.
