Coshocton, OH (March 1, 2024) – The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that 43-year-old Bruce Dye lost his life in a fatal car crash that occurred on Thursday morning, February 29.
At around 10:20 a.m., Dye was driving his vehicle eastbound on Ohio State Route 16. For reasons unknown, his vehicle collided with a westbound vehicle near North Whitewoman Street. The driver of the westbound vehicle, 21-year-old Cal Shrimplin II, was injured in the accident. He received medical treatment while at the scene. Dye was severely injured in the crash. EMS transported him to Genesis of Coshocton, where he died from his injuries. At this time, investigations are underway.
