Cleveland, OH (May 26, 2024) – A tow truck driver was injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Friday evening in Cleveland. The Cleveland Police Department was called to the crash scene just after 9:00 p.m. on May 24.
According to law enforcement, a collision occurred on Interstate 71 near West 25th Street during the evening hours. A tow truck responded to the scene of the accident to assist with removing the involved vehicles. As the tow truck driver attempted to load the vehicle onto his flatbed, another vehicle struck the car that was being loaded. The impact of the crash sent the car into the tow truck driver, causing injuries. The victim was transported to MetroHealth Hospital for emergency care. The crash is being investigated by the Cleveland Police Department at this time.
