Cleveland, OH (February 5, 2024) – Emergency officials were requested to provide assistance on-site at a motor vehicle accident that took place on February 4.
Reports provided by local news sources show that three vehicles were involved in a collision at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday morning. The incident took place on Route 2, blocking multiple westbound lanes near the entrance to West 3rd Street. Following the accident, an adult male exited his vehicle to assess the situation. As he stood on the side of the road, a driver lost control of their vehicle, causing it to slide towards him. The man was forced to jump over a wall and fall approximately 30 feet onto the land below. The man was injured and transported to an area hospital for medical care.
An adult female involved in one of the collisions was also injured. She was transported to a local hospital by EMS. Authorities closed off the roadway for more than an hour while assisting at the scene. Investigations into the crash are ongoing.
