Cleveland, OH (April 4, 2024) – The Cleveland Police Department confirmed that a 72-year-old man lost his life as a result of a motor vehicle accident on Wednesday afternoon, April 3.
At around 3:00 p.m., a male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while walking near East 81st Street and Kinsman Road. The pedestrian sustained critical injuries in the accident. Despite medical assistance provided by the Cleveland EMS, the man ultimately passed away from his injuries. No other injuries were reported. The Cleveland Police Department’s Accident Investigative Unit is currently working to determine the cause of the crash.
