Canton, OH (February 6, 2024) – The Canton Police Department confirmed that two people were injured as a result of a multi-vehicle accident that took place on Sunday evening, February 4. Law enforcement was requested at the accident scene at approximately 6:30 p.m.
According to reports provided by CPD, an older blue sedan was traveling northbound on St. Elmo Avenue Northeast during the evening hours. For unknown reasons, the sedan struck a black 2012 Nissan Rogue near 20th Street Northeast. The impact of the crash caused the Nissan Rogue to strike a silver 2013 Ford Focus, which was parked facing southbound on St Elmo Avenue.
Canton Fire-EMS responded to the scene of the crash to provide care to injured parties. EMS transported 56-year-old Ronald Foster and 30-year-old LaMonica Wilkins to Mercy Medical Center, where they were provided further treatment for their injuries. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
