Canton, OH (March 8, 2024) – Just after 2:50 p.m. on March 6, officers with the Canton Police Department were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that sent one person to a local hospital with injuries.
Police reports indicate that a white 2016 Chevrolet Impala was traveling northbound on Cleveland Avenue southwest during the afternoon hours. For unknown reasons, a silver 2014 Subaru Legacy exited a private lot and failed to yield the right-of-way while entering the roadway. As a result, the Chevrolet Impala struck the Subaru Legacy near the area of Donald Place southwest. A passenger in the Chevrolet was injured. The victim, 21-year-old Peyton Elise Keller of Canton, Ohio, was transported by Canton Fire EMS to Aultman Hospital for emergency care. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
