Canton, OH (July 2, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Canton area ended in injuries. The Canton Police Department was called to the scene at around 2:30 p.m. on June 30.
Police reports indicate that a tan 2008 Chevrolet Silverado was heading northbound on Fulton Road Northwest during the afternoon hours. As the driver attempted to turn the vehicle West at the intersection of 23rd Street Northwest, the driver failed to yield the right-of-way. As a result, the vehicle collided with a blue 2007 Chrysler 300, which was traveling southbound through the intersection. The driver of the Chevrolet was cited for a right-of-way violation at the intersection. The driver of the Chrysler, identified as 20-year-old Ajauntee Quessence Collins, was injured in the crash. She was transported by Canton Fire EMS to Mercy Medical Center for treatment. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
