Brooklyn, OH (February 20, 2024) – Just before 8:40 a.m. on February 19, emergency crews out of Brooklyn were requested at the scene of a motor vehicle accident that sent one person to a local hospital with injuries.
According to reports from the Brooklyn Police Department, a silver 2008 Jeep Commander and a blue 2013 Hyundai were both heading westbound on Brookpark Road. As the vehicles approached the 11500 block of the roadway, the driver of the Jeep changed lanes and collided with the Hyundai. Both vehicles were damaged in the accident and eventually came to rest on the side of the road. A passenger in the Hyundai was injured. The victim, identified as 20-year-old Selina Sanchez Concepcion, was transported to Metro-Parma for further care. The Brooklyn Police Department is currently investigating the accident.
