Brook Park, OH (May 13, 2024) – A major motor vehicle accident was reported in the Brook Park area that injured several people. The Brook Park Police Department and local firefighters were called to the scene at around 3:45 p.m. on May 11.
Official reports indicate that a silver 2020 Chevrolet Equinox was turning left from the westbound side of Snow Road onto the southbound side of Smith Road. For reasons unknown, the vehicle overcorrected and went left of the center line. As a result, the Chevrolet Equinox collided with a gray 2014 Nissan Murano. The impact of the crash caused one vehicle to go off the roadway and come to rest on the driveway tree lawn area of the Shell Gas Station. A total of four people were injured in the accident. The Brook Park Fire Department EMS responded to the scene to render aid to 31-year-old Jeffery Michael Moss, 34-year-old Katherine Bednar-Donley, a 2-year-old male, and an infant male. All four victims were transported to Southwest General Hospital for emergency treatment. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
