Bedford, OH (July 10, 2024) – On July 8, the police in Bedford were summoned to provide help at the scene of a motor vehicle accident that resulted in injuries. The collision took place at around 3:40 p.m.
According to official reports, a white 2014 vehicle was traveling northbound on the ramp onto Interstate 271 North from Forbes Road. At the same time, a black 2023 Nissan Rogue was traveling behind the white vehicle. As the driver of the white vehicle slowed down to enter the roadway, the driver of the Nissan Rogue failed to maintain an assured clear distance ahead. As a result, the Nissan Rogue crashed into the rear of the white vehicle.
The white vehicle was operating as a rideshare vehicle at the time of the accident. A passenger in the backseat sustained injuries as a result of the crash. The victim, identified as 23-year-old Isamarie Hernandez Arroyo, was transported to UH Ahuja Medical Center for emergency treatment. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
