Bedford Heights, OH (June 18, 2024) – At around 5:15 p.m. on June 16, emergency crews were summoned to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in which at least one person was hurt.
According to reports, a gray 2019 Kia Optima was traveling at a high rate of speed on Interstate 271. As the vehicle proceeded throughout the area near mile marker 24.8, it cut off a black 2024 Dodge, causing the two vehicles to collide. The impact of the crash caused one vehicle to go off the side of the roadway and overturn. One person involved in the accident was injured. EMS rendered aid to a 16-year-old male at the scene before transporting him to Hillcrest Hospital for further treatment. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
