Beachwood, OH (April 9, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident that occurred on Sunday afternoon in the Beachwood area reportedly caused injuries. The Beachwood Police Department was notified of the accident just after 12:50 p.m. on April 7.
According to official police reports, a green 2014 vehicle was stopped in the right lane of travel on the eastbound side of Cedar Road in the 26300 block. For unknown reasons, a black 2015 vehicle traveling behind the green vehicle failed to maintain a clear distance ahead of their vehicle. As a result, the black vehicle crashed into the green vehicle. One person was injured in the accident. The victim, identified as 48-year-old Craig Bradley Knowles, was transported by Beachwood Fire Department EMS to Hillcrest Hospital for medical care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
