Youngstown, OH (February 24, 2024) – A woman was transported to a local hospital with injuries after a sideswipe accident in the Youngstown area on Friday, February 23.

Preliminary reports about the accident show that a woman was driving at the entrance to the Madison Avenue Expressway when her vehicle was sideswiped. The impact of the crash caused her car to strike a guard rail. Area police and firefighters blocked off the ramp for a significant amount of time while working to clear the road. The woman was injured in the accident. She was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital for medical care. At this time, the accident is still being investigated.
