Warrensville Heights, OH (January 24, 2024) – The Warrensville Heights Police Department responded to the scene of a car crash that took place on Tuesday morning and ended in injuries. Law enforcement was notified of the crash at around 6:25 a.m.
On January 23, a white 2019 Mazda CX5 was traveling in the area of Northfield Road and Clarkwood Road during the morning hours. For unknown reasons, the Mazda struck a pedestrian near the intersection. The pedestrian, identified as 31-year-old Russell Raemel Stokes of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, was injured in the crash. Warrensville Heights Fire Department EMS treated the victim while at the scene. Stokes was subsequently transported to Hillcrest Hospital by EMS for emergency treatment. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
