Toledo, OH (June 11, 2024) – Just after 2:00 p.m. on June 9, emergency crews were requested at the scene of a car crash that occurred in Toledo and ended in injuries.
According to police reports, a white 2020 Honda CR-V was traveling on 1st Street during the afternoon hours. As the vehicle attempted to make a left turn onto the northbound side of Oak Street, it collided with a black 2013 Ford Escape. The incident prompted the closure of the intersection.
One person involved in the accident, 24-year-old Alexis Weltlin, was injured. Toledo Fire Department EMS transported her to St. Vincent’s Hospital. The driver of the Honda, 81-year-old Patricia Ramer, was charged with a right-of-way violation. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
