Toledo, OH (February 25, 2024) – Three people were transported to area hospitals with injuries following an automobile accident that occurred on Saturday morning, February 24. The Toledo Police Department and local firefighters were called to the scene of the accident at around 11:30 a.m.
Preliminary crash reports indicate that 32-year-old Iesha Lawrence was driving southbound on Upton Avenue when her vehicle collided with a second vehicle at the intersection of Wellesley Drive. Both vehicles went off the roadway and came to rest in the front yard of a home located on Upton Avenue. Three people were injured in the crash. Emergency medical services responded to the scene to provide medical care to Lawrence, 35-year-old Joshua Bonds Greer, and 23-year-old Destiny Coleman. The three victims were transported to area hospitals for further treatment. The incident is currently being investigated.
